So we had a little problem with our hire car, and before you all panic nope there were no accidents, everyone is fine, no police problems to cut a very long story short it basically just meant we didn't have access to it for a few days.
These fews days happened to fall whilst Solenn was off looking for new wasp locations in Bocas. So as per normal when things keep going wrong at the moment we head off to STRI to see what we could do.
And this was the solution ….. a STRI pick up!
As the only person left with a driving licence it fell to me to do all the driving for the last few days! Robin and Lawrence thoroughly enjoyed having it as they could ride in the back and said that they felt like they were real field biologists!
Although I think Lawrence decided that the boat was more exciting!
We also decided that this pick up came with a number of other bonuses namely the official government number plate which meant that at the police check between Panama City and Colon the police men simple smiled at us waved us past stating that there was no need to see my driving licence and that he hope we have a nice day!
