Work has been on hold over the last few days due to the weather. Despite begin able to mark another cohort of wasps and do a little bit of censusing again mother nature has turned against us and forecast more rain and dropping temperatures! This can only mean one thing, no wasp work.
So what can three women and a baby do with a couple of days off in Spain….
1) Be taken out for a very nice lunch by a friend of Ellis who used to be a Hollywood camera man (Thanks Edward lunch was great)
2) Take a drive to the traditional white Spanish town of Vajer to take in the views of Andalucia
3) Take a drive to a sheltered cove just to see if it would be a bit nicer there - and guess what happen the sun appeared the sea looked beautiful and it was then to late to census any wasps - typical! Oh well I lie on a beach in the south of Spain can't be all that bad (even it was in several layers of jumpers!)
Still keeping our fingers crossed for warm temperatures and sunshine would like to get some more data asap!
